a window mount vs a 102" whip. 102" whip wins any day. If you want an easy to mount antenna get the lil wilson(38") or if you want a longer one get a wilson 1000 magnet(66")

you should only use the window mount antennas if you want a small antenna but they have very poor talk range

Offroad, such as Jeeps and stuff? Alot of times, they won't let you run whips offroad.

Hands down, that 102" is going to out perform that window mount thingy any day of the week, year, & from here on out, period.

Tell me something, you say window mount......is it one of those that suctions to the window, and the wire goes on the inside? If so, they don't work.
