I've had both my CB and my XM radio in the truck for the past four years. Nothing has changed in either that I'm aware of. Lately though, if I key my mic or a strong cb near me keys up my XM shuts off.
Someone said to check my grounds but I can't find a problem.
    Any suggestions?

That's interesting and I'm going to watch this one. The XM does increase the noise level on my CB, but the CB has never bothered the XM radio.

Sounds like RF getting into your radio. Check all of your connections and any in-line fuses. I have had this problem myself at home. Every time I keyed up the radio would shut itself down. Seems that the in-line fuses were loose. Tighthening them up and verifying that all the connections were tight fixed the problem, and has not since returned.
Re grounding - if you have had good luck with the CB and XM for 4 years but are having problems now, perhaps your ground has deteriorated with age due to rust and your grounds are no longer bonded as well as they once were. Good luck

Good advice, especially about the grounds. They should be checked/cleaned at least yearly IMO.
