I have just purchased a 2006 Kenworth T600 and my old Cobra 29 LTD won't fit in the hole in the headliner. Any suggestions?![]()

Get a different truck that it'll fit into
-
What size is the hole? Perhaps a Cobra 25 will fit? It's virtually the same radio as a 29 except it doesn't have the built in non accurate SWR checker.

I used to drive a 2006 T600 and put my cobra 29 in it. You know that hole slides open.

Get a Bigger Hammer. Don't let it start out the relationship this way. So the truck who's boss.
-
Just mount it below the hole in the head panel. Put say a nice connex amp up in the hole for that Cobra.
TALK REAL LOUD AND REAL PROUD DRIVER!!! LOL -
I seem to remember putting a connex hp in the same hole......
anyway.A Cobra 25 with the mosfet upgrade and a connex board would be my first choice. -
not trying to "plug" Sparky's BUT that RFX 25 he has up for $229
is a sweet deal from any angle.

I have a 2007 T-600....the compartment will fit a Cobra 29 with no problems....you have to slide out the compartment....Additionally, I have a Galaxy 225 kicker....I got two of the small cheap bungee straps from pilot, hooked them into the buttons on the headliner and over the cooling fins on the kicker....225 watts in a kenworth t-600

I dont think that RFX 75 will fit,it sticks out a ways.
