CB Radio purchase and installation near Las Vegas?

now as for my coax I overtightened the connecter my mistake I admit that. i had the swrs checked off a mfj at 2 shops was at a1:1 off of both shops mfjs channels 1/20 and 40......the stinger dropped on me and I didn't notice it till the next day knocked the 1 mos fet out of the back of the s980 and I needed to replace the audio chip...my magnum when it does drive my 8pill runs with the top gun off and only deadkeys 15watts all that's needed..the 8 pill does not have 2 2290s in it... hard headed ######## can't realize that

 

he has his head stuffed up marks butt cheeks so tightly I'm amazed he can see or breathe at all ....

 

and I've been to just about every cb shop in the USA myself and the ones I haven't I could care less....

sorry pal I just told the whole story the real truth... I gotta question someone who seems to know something or everything about anything... but you don't own run a cb shop.... your just a truck driver like the rest of us... notice ridgeline is not on here much anymore. not hard to figure out why he's tried of dealing with your hardhead and know it all attitude

 

and my 8pill is doing just fine don't need you to assume or tell me how to run it. when I came into las cruces and was talking to mark he didn't know/ realize I was running that 8 pill----my magnum was pushing it. have a good day

 

Precisely why I told you about my mistake getting that Magnum S9 from Kelly hoping to save you some money. I think I've made more mistakes in my lifetime than most people.
Every time I make a mistake it sticks in my head and never forget it.

 

You forgot to mention you blew up your Magnum and that was not Mark's fault.

You did mention that it was perfectly normal to run 300 watts into 8 2SC2879 transistors. Each one of those transistors is rated for 2.5 watts of carrier input.

 

my magnum has nothing to do with mark or the linear . I did not blow up my magnum when it popped the back mos fet the amp was not running..... real simple like I said the stinger dropped....swrs went bat #### and their ya go.... just because my linear is hooked up doesn't mean I'm always running it. i ran that magnum over a year like i said before with the linear top gun off deadkey at 15 watts.... no issues what so ever...that magnum I've got is tough as nails.....but any coax swr or other issue. would have done it in...... both of us know that

 

That was an excellent combination you were running. I'm sure the amp barely got warm when it was working.
