I started with a Johnson radio in high school then graduated to a small uniden. When I started driving I kept using that uniden till I bought a Connex 4300 when they first came out. I ran that until bout 6 months ago when my dad passed away. I took the radio his connex 4600 and had it fixed then put it in my truck so that he's riding along with me.

I have a old 23 channel Radio Shack CB that was my Dads, Its been so many years since Ive even looked at it, dont know if it works or not. The Cap's in the old radios don't last for ever, dont think it would be worth re-capping, maybe for my own use.
