im in a 2012 cascadia. I found where the cb gets mounted and I'm wonder if this is the cb wording for the truck . I tested the voltage and it reads 10-11 volts. It has a plastic connected with 2 wires. One black n another goldish. Pic above or below

my shaker DOES NOT have 2 wires in a connector like that. i have a red and a black. i'd not trust that you have.

somewhere in the upper console, there has got to be a red/black wire set up, maybe tucked far into the forward most near the windshield?

if not, get a cigarette lighter adapter and plug it into that, like i do now in my current truck. reason being, i may have to empty out my truck and i want quick work, not struggle with things.

Nope. That is correct. It is the wiring for the CB...or at least intended for it.

BTW...it is not a goldish wire--it is TAN. And if you look really closely, it should be TAN with a white stripe.

At any rate, that pigtail is indeed intended for the CB wiring. It is part of the overhead connector. The black wire is obviously the ground wire as well.

Thanks. Do they have an adaptor for the connector? Or do I have to hard wire into the wires
