GA and MO are about the cheapest states to buy them. Around $9.00 give or take for a pack.
I remember when I first started buying them they were $0.15 per. Mom would give me 20 cents to go down to the store and get them for her. I got to use the extra 5 cents for a handful of candy..think I was around 6 years old. No one ever asked me for ID![]()

In the military cigarettes were $2.00 carton with cigarette ration card. No tax stamp on them either.
I had a couple of friends that didn't smoke and they'd give me their ration card.
No tax stamp on these Lucky Strike's.
