Like I said, if you get called into secondary, it’s posted on the office door.

I crossed at Emerson a few weeks ago nothing was said about a mask. A buddy of mine crossed the other day and was asked to put one on. I crossed at Coutts a little over a week ago and nothing was said about masks. Just asked if I was sick.
Crossed at Bluewater yesterday and nothing was said about masks.
None of the border agents I dealt with in those 3 crossing were wearing one either.
At the end of May when according to the news masks were required when crossing the border I wore one when I pulled up to the booth at Bluewater and was told to remove it. It was only required to enter the customs buildings.

    BigHossVolvo Thanks this.

Windsor has a sign on all the booths saying to wear your mask. I find the officers at Windsor to be the worst of all the places I cross.

    BigHossVolvo and Canadianhauler21 Thank this.

Hell yeah, Windsor officers are all power tripping douches. I've had arguments with a few of them in the past, I steer clear from Windsor whenever possible now, Sarnia is way better.

    BigHossVolvo Thanks this.

Know someone who has done that on occasion. Why not? What's the penalty?

I only cross in Ontario once or twice a year, I don't care how many extra miles it is, Buffalo/Erie or Sarnia. I crossed in Windsor ONCE years ago, it will never happen again lol.

That’s how I feel bout all of the ports in southern Ontario. I’ll eat 80 miles to cross at Sault Ste. Marie every time.

And in reality, you could load in Detroit for Toronto and cross at sarnia, it’s like 10 miles difference. And way less headaches.

    BigHossVolvo and Canadianhauler21 Thank this.

Made the mistake of giving them my email address. Every week they send me this. At least it clears things up for those who were trying to tell me that us essential workers need to quarantine.
