I had a well meaning guy stand facing me and he would spin his hand the direction he wanted me to turn the wheel. Seemed like every way I went he just grinned and shook his head. After a minute or two I just ignored him and backed straight in. It taught me a lesson, and I haven’t paid too much attention to well meaning advice givers on my driving ever since. Unless they start jumping and yelling. Then hit the brakes.
