CDL-A short haul in the Southwest Ohio Area ($26/hr)

I am looking to hire a local CDL-A driver in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. The truck is a 2016 single-axle Volvo with an Eaton 10-speed manual transmission.

The work is palletized dock-to-dock, and for what my business is involved in, four to five stops in a day is considered a lot; many times, I do only two or three stops. Pickups and deliveries are typically made in Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Indianapolis. I don't generally allow my trucks to go further out than that.

I don't have an HR department or anything similar. My trucks don't have cameras in them. I'm looking for someone honest who can commit to the job.

My business doesn't have captive insurance, so I believe the primary thing I need from a driver is a clean driving history, not years of driving experience. So, if you've just graduated from truck school or are looking to get some tractor time without having to do OTR, then this may be a good opportunity for you.
