I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. I have a cdl-B permit with the air brakes passenger and school bus endorsements. i planned on going back to get my tanker and hazmat endorsements as well. i got my permit with the intention of driving a school bus for trinity inc because my father works for them. however shortly after i applied they suspended there training program. does anyone think it would be wiser to just try to get into trucking school and get the cdl-A or do a program at the trucking school to get a cdl b? will employers hire someone with a cdl b with no trucking school training? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

More opportunities with class A. Class B is good for some expeditied companies such as Panther II and several others. But, a Class A with endorsements covers most all trucking jobs.
