Hello Folks!
Long story short, I am closing in on earning a cdl b on my own dime, even though I am currently employed, I hate the office people thinking they own me in some way because they paid for my certification testing. I have passed the written tests here in colorado including air brakes, and now am preparing as much as a possibly for the skills test. Here lies the problem. I am prepared for the pre-trip with one exception, this is a 01' freightliner I have looked for and cant seem to find a similar one on short notice. The bottom line is I need engine diagrams so I am confident and able to identifiy engine components and such. If anyone has any resources it would be greatly appriciated
CDL B skills test soon... help please!

What model freightliner? Do you know the engine make?
And why a class b? Why not go for a class A? (just asking) -
Thanks Bud for the response!
First, I asked the office monkey on the phone for more info, but was denied. Second, my current employment not requiring a cdl involves alot of travel (drilling) and I have a daughter who will soon be here. It destroys my wife every time I have to go which consequently beats me up as well. The only thing that prevented me from going for an "A" was a total lack of experience, I can drive straight trucks with trailers no prob, but have no time with a big rig. I know it will not make great change$, but i am looking for some kind of local or state gig that will keep me in town, allow me to still do sometype of trade work and just earn a decent living. -
Well good luck on the test driver. Class A isn't to hard to earn, you just have to learn to back a 53ft trler. If you've backed up trlers before you know the concepts so it should be easier for you. As for the pre-trip, I wouldn't sweat it man. I did when I took the test and I did pretty well on it.. I made my self sick from being so nervous.

FWIW, you do not need a semi to get a Class A.

Put a 10 foot lawn mower trailer behind the straight truck you're taking your test with and *poof* class A driver.
