    I got my cdl b wanna go for cdl a what do I gotta do take the permit test again? I know I gotta take the road test again some one said all I gotta do is take combination vehicles test at dmv I know I gotta take the road test again let me know if anyone went from class b to a thanks bigjoe

    In my state (Washington ) you must take the pretrip, parking, and road test to go from B to A. Why don't you check with your states licensing department? That's the easiest way to get a sure answer.

    Yea full road test and probably a written test but dam parallel parking a tractor trailer is beast lol
