CDL EXAM HELP!!!

    Im in CDL school, for some reason i cant straighten up the tractor/trailer after coming out of a parallel maneuver. i simply cant get the truck straight to perform any maneuvers. Please help??????

    LOL would it help you to know that trailers are only aligned for pulling forward and not for backing up???

    On a serious note. Turn the steering whel the direction YOU DONT want it to go. If you look in your mirror and the trailer is moving to the left, turn left.
    Also it is far esier to push a trailer backwards if when you start backing the trailer is straight behind you. Practice, you will get the hang of it. If your vehicle has a tow hitch, practice with a utility trailer. A trailer with a long tongue (distance between the hitch and tires is greatern than 12') will be easier to back than a trailer with a short tongue
