Yes indeed! And Roehl says they pay tarp/untarp for each stop along a multidrop trip.

American Trucker has a thead about FB
He just went from Watkin Shepard (got his one year) and switched to LoneStar( I do believe but am not 100% sure)....... He's a yungin' (LOL) 22 years old but so far he has enjoyed it. He has some good posts about learing to chain, tarp and strap.Perpetual Thanks this. -
maybe on your 10/34 when you have some time........
would make a great read!! -
Thanks Wedge - nice to see you here - you are one of my inspirations for starting my own thread

Yes I certainly expect to be backing plenty and will be happy to get as much practice as possible. I actually like doing it. I was just thinking in terms of how the flatbed usually gets loaded. Of course it's all theoretical at this point ... lmao
Wedge Thanks this. -
Way cool ! I will look for that thread. Thanks !

I like Close To The edge better...lol

My all time favorite YES song is "Awaken" from "Going For The One" album. "Close to the Edge" is quite awesome as well. All the classic stuff is great. Looking forward to playing some in the truck while driving

Thanks for posting! -
One concern I have at this time in going with Roehl is: Will I be able to find a place to park the rig during home time? Seems like I might get a little more help from the company on this and maybe the fleet manager will be more helpful... The recruiter is telling me it would be up to me to find a place convenient and big enough that will give permission to park. He said is does not need to be a secure area, just need permission so it doesn't get towed; sometimes drivers can make a deal with some place that has a large lot and charge maybe as little as $10/month for the few days it will be there. He also said that some truck stops might give permission to leave it unattended for a couple of days. The closest truck stop is a Flying J @ 24 miles away.
I also have a friend from grade school who has a farm in the area...
Maybe I'll take a little drive around and see what might work...
Any ideas from those who have run into this?
Thanks. -
Our town wal-mart allows truck parking, just fyi.

Cool, thanks, appreciate the input. I'll check it out while I'm running around today
