Was it hard to out for 54 days? WOW!
Perpetual Thanks this. -
Yes I received an assignment near the end of my last day off, so I was ready to go first thing this morning. Picked up a load in Baltimore, dropped part of it about 10 miles away in another area of Baltimore, and brought the rest to Fayetteville, NC. I am at the consignee now and they start unloading at 0600. I already have a preplan for when I am empty: load in South Carolina; deliver to Ohio.

I was definitely ready for a break at about day 45. But overall it wasn't bad and pretty much worth it to get 10 days off.

Well thats awesome!! Sounds like your FM is really good to you. I plan on going to Roehl for their FB division once I turn 21. It's a ways away (3 1/2yrs) but I hear a lot of good things about them, and really want to do FB. Hopefully when I get there, I'll have a good FM like you have.
Then after a year or two, I plan on buying my own truck, and start by leasing onto a company. -
Where's Perpetual it's been awhile with no updates?

Been running like crazy. Out to Oregon and California and now back in the midwest.

Glad to hear that you've been busy, how did you like the faaaarrrrrrrr west trips?

Great scenery; challenging mountain grades (although the buildup of lore made it seem less of a deal once there), typically very comfortable temperatures especially in Oregon and the rockies. Slept at a rest area at Vail pass (10,400 ft elevation) one night and it got down into the 40's. Overall it was a nice change of pace. My longest trip was from Georgia to Oregon: 2700 miles; 4 days of driving (three 650+ mile days in a row); My current record is 669 miles in one day and unless the company raises the 63 mph governed speed or the hours of service rules change, I do not think it possible to drive more than that.
