Does anyone know if I possess a class A already do I still have to sign a contract with those CDL mills like Swift, Stevens, England etc. because of inexperience or is the contract just if you take their driving academy?

    As I understand it.
If you have enough RECENT experience (w\in the last 6 months or so), you may not have to go through their training programs. However, should you not have that experience, you may have to then go through their programs anyway and then probably have to sign a contract to work for them without having to pay off their training program in full, up front.

Though each co. is a little different. So beware of the paper work and read everything before signing.
