Thee is risking a bunch of trouble with just a school bus.

Let's start simple. The school bus training place saying he is a Guinea pig is full of it up to here. BS. Such BS. If any school staff told me Im a guinea pig for a future ciriculium changes Im gone. Such BS cannot be allowed to stand light of day in it's steaming lies....

Pretripping a vehicle is prescribed in the DOT manual. Literally walk around the vehicle one time. (Including getting underneath to check brakes, brake lines, all lines electrical etc etc etc etc Bolts, Lug Nuts, everything. When I go over a truck I walk around one time and crawl underneath as I go. Nothing on, attached to, bolted on or secured to that tractor trailer or vehicle is left unchecked.

Rambling is a sort of a BS'itter's way of trying to bamboozle a exam giver into a eyes glazed state and mark pass on pretrip. It's BS behavior I tell you.

You not only need the S for the vehicle itself, you also need the P for the passenger, states might have you do the P test endorsement (Passenger) then do the vehicle (School bus next) Then there are additional tests. One of them is a pretrip.

I can only imagine what the railroad would require of him if he is with a CDL in his wallet and told to take a Class B truck (26,001 or heavier gross vehicle weight or a Class A which is a Combination vehicle, aka a tractor trailer. That school bus cdl will NOT have the correct weight to legally do these tasks.)

Also he will need a air brake endorsement for that school bus too.

I can go on. But When you stated that the school is trying to BS him into feeling good about being a Guniea Pig... I think every staffer in that school is full of BS.
