Depending on where you reside in south Florida -- and also, how bad the current general freight market is right now -- the hardest part for you may well be finding a CDL job with a carrier that will take you (& of course, train you), with zero experience.

Given the above -- & to make yourself as marketable as possible -- BE SURE to pick up all the relevant CDL endorsements (tanker, hazmat...& also doubles-triples)...when you finally get your CDL-A.

Since general freight volumes now are so bad -- consider/look into programs like Schneider's "jet set" system.

That program affords you the flexibility to go where there's decent freight.
