Are the EPU's batteries separate from the truck's main batteries?

Yes.

 

Call the Career Center closest to you and inquire about funding tor training. Usually WIA funding, sometimes TAA depending on your circumstances.

Look into Great Lakes truck drivng school, they have an excellent program that I recommend, I just finished the school part and now I'm working on the otr portion of the program.

 

If you're in Northern Kentucky Millis would be great for you. There is a school in Trenton Ohio, and you they are hard to beat when it comes to training, pay, and equipment. Check out the threads on here and feel free to ask any questions. Several of us here that work for Millis, and I'm also a trainer at Millis so feel free to ask any questions you have.
