Cdl transfer to USA

    Does anybody here ever had to transfer there cdl from any province to New Jersey State ? THe lady at the front desk told me i had to do the hold proces over , written test, road test , like i never had my CDL before ,!!!! but she look very confused ...and im not having any luck with google to find the answer ...

    I would imagine she is correct as the same would apply for any U.S driver trying to transfer-in a CDL to a Canadian province.

    nope a US class1 MN to a MB class1 was just a medical and the computer class1 test. 3yrs ago

    I thought there might be a chance I was wrong... ;)

    Upon further investigation, it appears NB and NL also allow class-for-class transfer from the US without a full re-test.

    Yes that is correctomuno mate it sucks but its true boy i'm glad to be back driving in Australia over here most states recognize your license from another state and its a straight up transfer they don't even charge you for it either.
