CDL with no experince but not a student. Who will hire me?

    Hello,

    I am a recent widow and am wanting to get back into driving. I was married 10 yrs as a housewife and so I have next to no job experience over the last 10 yrs.

    I do have my CDL and I live in FL but am in the National Guard in La.

    Ive gone to CR England, Schneider National, Werner, FFE and am waiting on CRST to contact me back.

    Any other companies that I can call? Plz help. I need to get back to driving.

    If you have been driving rigs for the Guard, that will help, but you may have to go through a refresher course.

    My dad and I are both in the same boat . . . been out of the seat 15 and 10 years respectively, and we would both have to do refresher courses.

    Not sure which other companies to contact, but there will be others dropping in with some suggestions for you.
