What about driving said equipment with NO insurance? Or paying out of pocket for fuel? I say park it as soon as possible and walk away.

Well again, according to this driver/office staff page there are a few trucks still on the road under dispatch to deliver a remaining load as of today. So apparently they’re still insured. As far as fuel goes, 50 gallons is not gonna break my bank if it lets me get my truck to a secure company location where it won’t be sitting clogging a truck stop parking spot, risking vandalism and/or damage they could possibly spin around as being my doing down the line whenever they decide to retrieve it. But, that’s just me

good guy. i would have bounced last week

It's not as if any of us knew that they were going to close up. As of Friday, we were being told that everything was normal. No issues we didn't already know about. When I left the office Friday night, I was planning on a normal work week the following Monday, as was everyone else. If you had been there, you would not have had any more reason to leave than any of the other folks that didn't.
As for the Quality trucks, they are not affected by this as they are all owned by 19th Capital Group now.
Quality Leasing does not exist any longer, as of 2017.
There is a lot of misinformation in this thread, mostly here from people that are reading the news and guessing a lot. Not much different than the days we'd all sit in our trucks in the truck stop and make up BS on the CB. -
how come the court papers show 3 quality companies on it.cinderpop, bzinger and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Telling people lies who invest money into your company is fraud. A fine of 42 million puts the company & current management into a deep whole. If its okay to lie to you & take your money maybe that is okay with you. I read their history and understand quite well their fraudulent accounting practices. It is a reason certain businesses operate in fraud & others don't.Kurt Michaels, drvrtech77 and truckdriver31 Thank this.
