Now there is indeed a shortage of drivers with more than half a brain.
Also a shortage of companies that pay half decent.

 

Lets see.. someone who hates their wife would want to go OTR lol.
Someone without a home or perhaps wanting to save money does OTR without a home to save costs.

I do agree that OTR company drivers get paid trash.
LTL local or LTL linehaul drivers get paid more than OTR drivers, that never made sense to me.

 

They are cheap
