The lease purchase offered by Celadon is one of the biggest scams in the 31years of working in the trucking industry. So far their are a hand full of past lease operaters for celadon/Quality companies witch are one in the same company. Under the terms of the lease your a owner operator running a business and if you need any help or advise on running your business they will be their to help you succeed. In all the years ive been driving ive never seen a company that was so greedy but on a good note youll cover your lease payment an fuel. My best advise to any driver that wants to take this leap find a company that really cares about their drivers an families. Their is plenty more about this company that would make any driver sick but if any ex lease driver for Celadon would like to join the legal action against Celado/Quilty companies just leave a message and myself or another driver will contact any an all involved. I took the step an own my own truck an doung very well but Celadon is not worth the time to listen to all the lies that they feed to all. Anyone can believe me or not thats fine just wanted to inform all so no one waste their time with a corp.company the dont care about you or your family. Thanks to all good luck...

Finding a company that really cares about there drivers and families? There aren't many around. I have a friend that leases from quality. And is signed on with red classic. In a nut she'll she ain't doing well. I have a cousin leasing from quality and running under star freight. They told him there going to repo the truck.

I have never heard anything good about quality. Or for that matter any leasing of a truck. There are many that didn't make it thru a lease purchase deal. And if I remember correctly there is a class action against CEL going on now.

If there in financial crisis right now. Then what do you think will happen to L/P drivers? Ups is hiring drivers at $32 p/hr, go get yourself a company job

That would be a full time job in itself.

31 years in the business, and you never heard of the problems with Celadon/Quality? Which rock were you under?

celadon is dropping quality cause that's the side with all the problems so if you have a quality truck i'd be really nervous.

Let me get this straight, you actually believed a trucking company wanted to help you buy a truck just out of the goodness of their heart? What the hell is wrong with you? WHY would a company push a lease if it wasn't just for their own benefit? Why would they want to help you? What's in it for THEM? Those are the questions that should have been obvious to you from the start.

Trucking companies screw each other and unfortunately the drivers too.
Didn't used to work this way but about 20 years ago loyalties went right out the window with the driver only being as good as what can you do for me today .
Sad but true and a product of deregulation in the 80s.

The LP pay is the same as it was 25 years ago, yet fuel has doubled or tripled and the truck cost double what they did in the 90's. Quality actually has a 7 year lp, at which point the truck is wore-out once you've paid it off.

I'd like to know what 2 poor souls gave Celescam a 3 1/2 star rating.
