I apologize for that. It was a big deal to all of us to lose that one particular person. He had dedicated his time and energy to all of us. When he passed, he left a note at the service stating very simply. He no longer had the time on earth to get to all the things that need doing.
Life is precious. If it was me in that position it will be hospice no question I have all that on legal paper, living will and executor and all of that ahead of time.
I have been bit a few times already this month trying to participate in death topics and have gotten to the point that I will refuse to participate any more and block people who make death topics. Its no good for anyone all around. This is a raw time for us all and the holidays do not make it any easier. Ive got two people we are fixing to lose in the family within two months and even though we have resigned oursives to their dying I may not endure the trip to arlington for the cassion funeral due their rank. Its too much for me. Ive got enough on my plate as it is.
To others who wish to post death topics I think its best to slow that down for a while. There has been too many of them and too much trouble on my end. I can apologize a thousand times but it wont matter, its easier from today on out simply to lock those threads out and the people who build them as a topic. That should stablize things by the end of this year.
If it does not then I will leave sometime next year early. My value here is very little these days. And I would like to think there are many new ones to the industry who do not know what they are about to get into and need information. Old or new.
The death topics is too much to be honest and Ive pretty much had enough of them. Between that and people who are loved passing on in my own life its not welcome anymore. So thats my position. Its a mess and it will be cleaned up. No more of that from me. Its all I can do.

@rolls canardly if you are talking to me...
Well first I never claimed to be nice.
That's neither hear nor there though.
X1 directly contradicted himself on this and several other posts he has made in the past. When he lies I will call him out.
Yes it does matter. New members will see his post count and equate that to knowledge. That same someone might follow what he says as truth and act upon it.
That's worse than me being nice to someone that cannot be trusted.
There are several people here I do not not agree with, but I try to be civil to. And there is a difference in being wrong or even changing one's mind. He flat out lies rhough. Go read his posts over the course of a couple weeks and tell me he doesn't. Heck, I see it weekely and I on purposely do not read his posts. (Some I do before I realize it's him.)4mer trucker, bzinger, Bakerman and 1 other person Thank this. -

I’ve got a question and it’s probably a silly one. But here it goes..
Say you’re delivering a load, you’re still several miles/hours away from it’s destination and you get a message that your company is shutting down and basically your employment with the company is over.
Since you haven’t delivered yet. I’m guessing you’re still responsible for delivering the load, correct? An after delivery. I’m guessing you’ll just return their truck and trailer back to the yards and then just get on with your life?
Hope the question made sense.Mountaintrucker4302 Thanks this. -
