OK ... I interpreted what you said, to mean they updated the loads on Monday.

 

Nah they post loads daily but the most loads at one time is on Mondays. (Probably because their closed on weekends).

 

Can you post a screen shot of some loads from freight rover and what they pay? I just talked to a Celadon recruiter and thinking of going Lease Operator, and speciafically Celadon mainly because of being able to select your own freight. That was the biggest selling point to me.

At every company I have drove for I have always averaged over 3000+ miles a week, yes, even when I was with Schneider and their governed 60mph truck, and that was getting crappy loads, most loads always over 45,000lbs, and with a terrible dispatcher.

I imagine if I can get a truck, and pick my own freight, as long as I can aver at least $1.50 a mile, I will be clearing a nice solid paycheck week after week. I really like that I can choose my own loads and from what I heard, Quality Leasing does not govern there trucks, so realistically, I think I can do anywhere from 3000-4000 miles a week legally.

I was also thinking of doing reefer, just for the ability to pull reef or dry loads, which really opens up the amount of freight I can choose from.

I would really like to see what 70-75% of the gross those loads on Freight Rover app are paying, just so I can brainstorm in amy head and kind of guestimate how much I can take home net per week. I was a Lease Operator for about 3 years with CR England, and was able to make money ($2500-$4000 a week take home), solely because I was a trainer. had I been solo, and getting $0.90 a mile, I would have been another failed lease driver.

 

I bring that after taxes as a company driver home everyday! Lol.

 

$1900 a day ... pretty good.

Yeah that clause pretty much covers IRS requirements, but if you have their mt trailer, or have a cab wrap (huge logo) might be a hassle. Good to know

 

No kidding! I have heard $3.50 should be avg (esp over 38k lbs) and the big bucks are in ovrsize $5.50 up to 20K+ a load. Depends on who you know, yrs experience (reputation).

 

Better than 1.10 but walmart loads can be hvy then going up and down PA hills at $3.59 a gallon diesel, limited prking, no idle laws, construction, tolls, that extra .40 cents might not be worth it especially if live unload (palm face avg 6 hrs). Say no to cheap freight.
