Agreed...I'm not crazy about the belt clip, but the case itself is great.

The belt clip doesn't like my thick belt...its made for a Walmart belt, mine is a double layered hand made belt...the clip doesn't close over it right so I just carry the phone in my shirt pocket.

No joke...I considered reporting it as spam.

I gave up on the belt clip, broke two of them somehow... so now I just carry the phone in my hand or pocket... if I drop it, well no big deal. :biggrin_25523:

I never broke a belt clip. But I did lose 2 phones within 60 days of each other, while keeping them in a belt clip.

Now it's like you. Pocket or hand.

So far never lost my phone, or had the belt clip break. But I agree, the Otterbox belt clip is a joke. I'm glad their protective cases are good. I've dropped my phone by the belt clip coming off my belt 3 times in less than an hour. Each time the phone popped out. As the saying goes, 3rd times the charm, or 3 strike and your out. Belt clip was thrown back in the truck..:biggrin_25523:

My husband had the Palm Pixi Plus when he started with Maverick - did not fully survive a fall from the trailer (EMPHASIS: ONLY the PHONE fell, hubby stayed on the trailer!) He and I traded Palm Pixi Plus phones until he upgraded to the iPhone 4 in February 2012. The problem with his former Pixi after the fall was that the on/off switch no longer worked so could no longer fully turn it off unless you wanted to NEVER turn it back on again without taking the battery out and putting the battery back in - it finally totally gave up the ghost about a month ago. Hubby only has the same belt carrier that he had for the iPhone - no extra protective case and so far so good on the iPhone because he leaves it in the tractor when he is doing things on the trailer.

With a little double sided tape...the Otterbox belt clip makes a nice dash mount for the phone. :biggrin_25525:
