got a question regarding which phone mount would be best.
    i drive a 2010 kw t 660.
do not want a windshield mount, but would like to find one that would keep it within easy reach.
yes, i use blue parrot for talking, but also use my phone as a gps aid, and for music.

    thanks for any advice.

What kind of phone do you have? I have an iPhone and when I need GPS I use it,it is my satellite radio. So I use the XM sky dock which plugs into cig lighter. Phone sits in it and charges while you use it. So I condensed a GPS sat radio all into one. I love it. I got mine at best buy for like 70 bucks. Sound Plays thru speakers in the truck so like me I have music downloaded on my ph so I can listen to music while in the sky dock.

I've seen mounts that clip into the A/C vents.

I chose this one, for all the reasons you stated above and it will hold my Razr Maxx without taking it out of the Otter Box Defender.Best $25.00 USD I've ever spent. It is currently in an '05 KW T-600.

its a samsung smarty type phone, not a slider or flip. currently using one of the vent clip type mounts but is a bit too far away. sits right in front of the radio. and that empty spot on the dash to the right of the guages is occupied by the qc 'remote'. have thought about the cup holder type mount
