I'm looking for companies that have a place to park the truck near Des Moines. My little four wheeler doesn't do long commutes, and even parking a bobtail would be an issue at my apartment.

    Thanks for your time.

Anytime, anywhere you leave your rig, thieves just seem to know. If you want to keep it, take it out. Crack Heads have it down to under 2 minutes to strip the inside of a truck.

wow, i haven't had either issue.. hope I don't. Is there a truck stop near by perhaps speak with them? Sometimes I take an empty home so I'm ready to roll when home time is finished and sometimes I've parked in a near by truck stop then someone picks me up. look around locally , ask. its either yes or no. does your company have a drop yard near you?

There's a loves and Pilot in Desmoines.I think loves would be your best bet to park your rig while home.Just check with the fuel desk to make sure.

Yep you have the Pilot on the west side and Bosselman's in Altoona. But don't base your company on your hometime. You just want a company that travels them lanes. You can always rent a secure spot like at a boat/RV storage facility, a diesel shop or even another small trucking company might even rent you a spot. Get on Google maps and start scanning possibilities and start calling or go see them.

I've seen bobtails in apartment overflow spots before. Ask your manager.

Schneider has a drop yard on the backside of the Pilot. You go through the parking lot to get to it.
