Weeble, you could pull a curtain van in to Canada also, quad or with semi you could run 11 western, lot's of options.

Yes they do have plenty of options. I can't go to Canada personally because I now have a spread. Apparently bringing a spread into Canada is like leaving your tag axles down in Canada. No bueno.

They have closed axle curtain vans that can go into Canada, both quad and semi. I have pulled the manac semi curtain van into to BC.

This is true, they do have them. All they had at the yard when I got my roll top was spread axle curtains. Oh well.

Spending the night in Rawlins, WY and then up dark and early to go around Elk. No light trailer advisory is up currently. Hoping to get this blower off Thursday afternoon that way I can head whatever direction I'll be picking up on Thursday instead of Friday.

From following this thread you seem to be a good driver, an asset to COCC, they put you in a roll top to retain you. If you wanted to go back to the quad side or back into Canada on the semi side they have the curtain van trailers to make it happen and would if you asked.

I appreciate those kind words, sir. I'm happy with what I have right now. I don't wanna go rocking the boat too much because I'm pretty sure there are plenty of drivers here who would love to have my set up. I'll give it a little time before I start getting too picky, you know, like one of those 680's haha. In all honesty, this truck is great for what I'll be doing.

I found the way to get a new truck every two years is be productive and not tear up their equipment.

Well that is certainly the plan. Spending the night in Percival, IA. Truck is running tonight because it's gonna be a bit chilly, wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for the wind. It was more windy in Nebraska than Wyoming, and it wasn't fun with only 5k on the deck. Receiver won't be open late enough for me to deliver so I'll get close enough tomorrow, maybe get the truck washed.

Asked the lady on the phone if they had overnight parking and she suggested staying at one of the truck stops in West Memphis because it's not a good place once it gets dark. It must not be if you're suggesting that I stay in West Memphis of all places. I think I'll pull up a little shorter than that, thank you.

with the conestoga I love loading coils since its so easy... At System we don't load anything over like a 33,000 pound coil but I haven't hauled any that big. usually I get a load of 2 coils at like 17-19,000 a piece

The one time I hauled coils, it was two of them around 20k a pop out of Fontana. I'll be more than happy to haul them now!
