That you tube is 3 years old, I doubt that driver is still with COTC, could be driving for your company now.

Good company to work for, they treat you good and keep you busy. It's hard work, lots of tarping. Nice trucks, well maintained, almost all have electronic logs. They expect you to work safe and run legal.

any one have any current info on central oregon trucking, I am thinking about going with them to run 11 western, I live in portland, was wondering if I could get by the house during the week and do they get you home on weekends, do they have the miles and freight to keep you moving, they say they run 10,000 miles a month, I have never driven mileage so info on this side of trucking would be helpful, how much could I make driving 500 mi a day? at 33 and ahalf cents per mi

    Chris,

COTC will keep you busy. Yes there is a lot of tarping but you get used it. They are going towards a all KW fleet. At .33cpm you have the opportunity to make 165 if you do a 500 day.

I have noticed you have replied to drivers about Central Oregon Truck Company in a very postitive way. This is very much appreciated. I have worked for them around 7 years and have found them to be a very stable company.
I just wanted to say thanks!:biggrin_25525:

No problem man. My good friend works for them and is astounded at the professionalism the employees possess. If I were to go OTR again and lived out west, I would give COTC a very hard look at if flatbed was on my agenda. Yes the trucks may go slow, but it is a small nice company that treats drivers very well. My friend has been there just over a month and he got two load offers. Finally, the managers have been very nice to him as well.
