Just curious what everyone thinks.....both mega carriers...both refer. Almost seems like a coin flip? Thoughts?

If I can't get on with Roehl, these are my other 2 options.

    Thanks all...

Also, I left out 'none of the above' on purpose! :biggrin_25512:

Between the two I would choose Central. Then again, I pull for Central now, and have never pulled for anyone else... LOL!

Both are good companies to train with and start. Both have deep pockets, so you won't worry about if your paycheck will cash.
    Both run good equipment.
About the biggest determining factor I would consider is hometime. How does Central handle that in specifics to your home? Stevens runs a lot of freight thru the Cincinatti corridor, so getting home shouldn't be a big problem.
People everywhere will find reasons either company is bad, but then there are lots of us that like where we're at and have found a fit.
One thing is sure, you will likely move on from either company within two years, so which will give you the best start in the area of trucking you might move towards?
    BTW, I am with Stevens.

I would get into the drivers seat. Closest terminal to my home is not always the best. What truck is best for me? You might find a fit & stay for years. It's up to You.

Ladyk ...love your posts! I've read a lot of good info about central.

Emulsified...thanks for the tip about Stevens. I live right off 75. Good to know. Maybe I should start keeping track of which company's trucks I see more running thru here? lol

    Lady K Thanks this.

Maverick has a refrigerated division, which I am in (TCD = Temperature Controlled Division). All TCD drivers are OTR out for a minimum of two weeks at a time.

We don't run to South Korea though... too many sunken trucks on that route :p
