YOU were the one who had an opinion to share on the matter... I was simply sharing mine as well. There are other companies that do not allow pregnant riders or people who were denied unemployment by that company. Maybe your avenue of anger towards the issue should be directed at all companies that don't have the same guidelines that YOU think they should have. I wasn't directing anything towards you, but if you feel like you should have a response directed towards you, please re-read this post, knowing that it is a direct response to what you said previously.
(Isn't that the point of a forum? Discussion?) -
i would be more worried about the part where you arnt paid for deadhead miles--that is crazy,if i am going to be driving the truck--better be getting paid for it
saw an add the other day--something like 38cpm loaded and 15 cpm mt--whoa unless i am only going around the block--that sure isnt going to happen
i understand the company isnt making any money on deadhead miles,BUT it isnt my truck--i think it all boils down to "dont haul cheap frieght" -
Company drivers get paid deadhead and loaded miles the same. The only difference is for L/O, where they aren't getting paid the fuel surcharge for deadhead miles. They still get discounts, and they still get paid their full cpm for mt miles, just no fuel surcharge.
-
ok that sounds better then--the no fuel surcharge i can kinda see some pay it some dont--i thought you meant company drivers
its kinda scary when they dont pay mt miles for them--i can see if you are on %,but then you should be making more on a loaded mile -
Nope. Company drivers get paid the same amount for any mile they get paid to drive. (Which is usually a hair on the short side, but most companies are.)
