I haven't made a 500 week the whole time I've been here. Luckily I rented my house to my sister or I wouldn't have survived this long. I know the miles are here if you have the right DM, I'm just hoping it turns on, now that I'm part of the fleet.

I wasn't getting what I needed (although, a far cry from where you are) so I made some noise. Now I'm getting good miles. If you're not delivering loads late there's no reason not to be running hard.

i saw a youtube though and that guy had a long ratchet. says it takes 50 lbs to back it off. it only takes 1 lb to tighten them down. if they're working properly.
i just adjust them loosely till i can't turn anymore. i also watch the brake to make sure it's going tight and not too tight. sometimes you can't turn the wrench and the brake still has a gap. wd40 the entire slack will usually get it to turn some more. -
If you are getting less than 500 miles a week then there is something seriously wrong. You need to sit down with your DM and there boss if necessary and have a talk as to what is going on. Its one of the two, either you are doing something wrong or your dispatcher is.

If you are getting less than 2000 miles per week why do you need a 34?
Make sure you are logging correctly. Do not stay on duty while at shippers and receivers. You need to do your 15 min arrival, then go to off duty or sleeper.
If you are not doing this you will never have the hours to run. And your dispatchers will never be able to run you well.
A 34 should be a last ditch thing, when you have no real hours on your 70, as in less than 5. And over a day till you get more.
I think he means 500 dollars in a week Chompi. At least I hope so.
But at .28 cpm and with the deductions for school, load locks, lock, etc. It will lower his pay by 100 bucks per week for a while. So figure to take home 500 bucks he needs to run enough to net 600 before that stuff. So he would need around 2200 miles per week to net 500. Do not have to worry about taxes lowering your net, due to the .8 cpm perdiem, which makes your net and gross basically the same before other deductions. -
Went to the er last night. The only way there was an ambulance, because I have no car. You don't think about these things when you leave to be a trucker, but they sure are inconvenient. I have my very own kidney stone. Awesome.
