You get paid about a week after your first Wednesday with the trainer if that helps and pay attention when they break down the deductions. Those are a pain the first couple months. Once you're in with the trainer it depends on your circumstances. I have a house, a 60 pound dog living with my sister now, and my own house. First couple months almost killed me but I'm stubborn enough to still be here and I learned early to like ham and cheese sandwiches.

Hey, hey! Last time I saw 6pack4two, he was buying me dinner!
Good to see you back, my friend.
And 1Bad was at Johnson's corner, where he didn't have time to eat but took the time to work with my boy and advise him on his Z28.

Petey, this post is aimed partly at you, because I hope you make some
great friends like I did. Back in the day, it felt like us against the world.

what you'll be paying for is what they call a refresher course since you did not go to their school. since you will not be paying back the full cost of their school and you will be paying for the security deposit on the truck which covers damages and reposession fees if you up and quit and leave the truck somewhere then theres the lock kits which i highly recommend buying theirs so if something was to happen to the trailer such as a break in you are covered since it was their lock that was cut off. then there is over idle charges if you idle the truck over a certain precent. the deductions will probally come out at $50 to $75 a week for a year. but over idle if this happens which it probally wont each month is a forever deduction. i would plan on $ 125 a week for food on the road truckstop food is not cheap a meal at the flingj or ta buffet will run $12 plus tip also the fast food places such as subway burger king etc... charge more at the truckstops than they do at stand alone locations. plus if your a smoker you need to factor that in also $5 to $10 a pack depending on where you are at. then you got showers $10 a day if you like to shower everyday. but you can get reward cards at pilot, ta , flying j etc... which will give you a free shower with 50 gals of diesel bought . but you might not always have a shower credit depending on where you stop so be prepared to fork out money that day on a shower. then theres laundry you gotta pay for if you want your clothes clean. thens theres snacks and drinks your gonna want to buy. plus coffee in the am if your a coffee drinker that close to $2 acup there. its a never ending deal i tell ya. so conservitly id say $125 a week but be prepared to go as high as $175 to $200 a week depending on what you do and where you go.

Lock kit and load locks are $100 each and taken out at $10-20 a week (its neen a while). I did not pay for my load locks i just found a pair in the back of an empty trailer. Also if you upgrade at fontana they will just give you a set of used ones (if they have them) no charge. The lock kit you can get used for about $70 (again it's been a while) and both the load locks and the lock kit are deposits, once you leave and return the equipment they are supposed to give you your money back, I have not left the company so I can not tell you if they do or not, but that is what they say.You will only pay tuition if you go through their 2week class, if all you are doing is the 3 day orentation YOU get PIAD $100 and get 3 free lunches (at salt lake at least). The other charges such as the preformance bond are seen all over the industry, Central lets you pay your $240 bond at $20/wk for 12 weeks, some make you pay upfront or charge you %
