It depends on which heater you have. My truck "587 Pete" has an espar heater and the thermostat is a digital box with up and down temp controls and a button to just run the fan on those nights when it's not quite hot enough for A/C. My old Pete a 386 and my old prostar were both the same way. The wabasto heaters in some trucks just have the knob. Either way the truck must be off and the key in the off position for the bunk heater to work. Also most of them will not fire up if you have an 1/8 tank of fuel or less.

so i head to plover with a empty. 0600 apt. i get their 1100. they say its not ready. ok so i tell them how long? they say no empties. problem was i dropped my empty and the spotter snatched it. found a empty rail sitting on the side that a o/o just dropped. never been so happy to see a rail trailer.i hate plover now. preloaded means preloaded.

I go to ch 19 and say "you see guys, i fill up in 5 min and get my ##### moving, no need to hold up the fuel isle you A- holes". and some guy tells me "hey central why dont you shut the F*** up, or ill run you over with my truck". i hate when a truck is pulled all the way forward in front the dock. and i mean all the way forward waiting to open their doors for like 20 min from the dock guys and i have to back in between them. man i struggled. maybe did 10 pull- ups until the guy who saw me struggling stepped out his truck to talk to the other truck came back and moved his truck.

So I go to orientation in Memphis December 9th! Could have started next Monday but since I'm still OTR in a sprinter and training my replacement I didn't know when I'd be able to actually make. But I'm super excited about getting to learn how to drive a rig and see even more of the country. Got to explore NYC today but since I'm in a van that's no biggie lol
