Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

I am starting training at IITR Commercial Truck Driving School on the 9th of August and have been looking at what companys I would like to drive for. I have seen alot of trash talking about Swift, and wonder if they are so bad how are they still in business, then I look at the turnover rate and that is why they are in business, they turn drivers like its turning a page of a book. if you quit today there is always someone waiting to take your place.

My self I plan to apply with Central Refridgerated as the #### talking about them is minimal. so if you know of a good company to work for please let me know

Keep in mind that Central no longer hires students. You either need to be an experienced driver who's willing to lease on with Central, or be willing to go through their training program. So, if you go to IITR and then apply to Central, the odds are good they'll want you to go to school with them.

 

Does anyone have any tales to tell(good or bad) about Central Refrigerated?

There are schools out there that Central will hire out of, but they have to pre-qualify you and you have to submit paperwork before the class will even start. I am going this route, and start my class tomorrow.

Thousands of story's on here from hundreds of drivers. And I am sure that some of the best one's are not here, since 3/4 of posters that post that they are going to Central never return to the forums after they go to the school.
This means to me they did not make it.
