lol. nice one! even after this repower i still have 10 hrs to run. i just need to run off my recaps this week then take a 34 next sunday. The bright side of it is i have 2800 miles on monday and 2 more days to squeeze another load in.

 

Just got down to Fontana for orientation, so if any of you are down here, look for the big guy with the Stetson hat on for the next few days, then out with a trainer, as long as everything goes well!

 

"was a trainer" gets me curious. Did you leave Central which explains the "was" and if the decision to leave was yours, why when you were getting the trainee's miles making big $$ as a L/O? Thanks

Is 2400 miles the break even # L/O vs company? Meaning as a L/O you make the same as a company driver for the same 2400 miles. But over that 2400 is when the $$ gap widens exponentially?

Any of you L/O's have the OOIDA Transamerica group insurance they offer and is it better than Central's 5k deductable for OP services and IP services?

Well after hours of calling I finally got a hold of my recruiter. I have to fax her something stating that I am on unemployment. Shes going to pull up my dvr and Im suppose to call her back wednesday. As long as everything pans out I will be starting school in buffalo on the 7th.

i didnt go for the transamerica 'group insurance' because i dont THINK its really insurance. I think it only offers a discount on medical services.

Find out if that school is still the same people that ran the one in medina. I am guessing it is. If so they also have a school in the Jamestown area.
But if it is them I need to find out where they are so I can stop by sometime.
I would love to see some of them again. A good group.
