Ya weather is bad going from Oklahoma up tru North East it all sucks right now tell him to stay in touch with dispatch I can't move the truck due to 40 being closed tru Sat. or even Sunday Am. it sucks but I have the time and a second driver to hit my 99 I feel for those who don't tell him to drive safe for now his boss is Safty not his D/M appt times mean nothing the trucks well being means more.

 

He is on his 10 hr break right now. So we will see he still has about 8 to go on his break.

 

Can they move appt times due to weather? So he doesn't get a service failure?

 

Yes if the road is closed they will call the customer and have the app rescheduled.

 

Cool he has a Monday morning delivery in CO but sounds like if the storms are truely that bad he won't make it. He is just so trying to avoid service failures so he can get a dedicated run when his 6 months is up.

 

So where you sitting at 6pak? Am in OKC also but at the bro's house since I'm doing hometime at the moment. Should have been gone yesterday but all the meat plants in KS are closed at the moment.

 

Sitting at the J I 35 south of the 44 they said 40 is open but I think we'll wait till the AM to leave don't need to be in LA till tuesday 17:00.

 

The one truck stop in OKC that has multiple places to eat including the high dollar Cracker Barrel.
If 40 is open, wonder if the meat plants will be open tomorrow? Have enjoyed my hometime, mostly, but am ready to get out on the road.

Been watching the weather most of the day. Looks like 1bad my get trapped in St Louis. Can't get him on the phone so he must be sleeping. Any body know about the road in Kansas yet? They just keep showing the tornado stuff that's going on around here on my weather cast.
