I bought an inverter from Wal-Mart came toe 36.00 however when I tried to use it with my laptop it would not work. I tried everything I could think of to get it to work. I found another one here at pilot cause I took the other one back to wal-mart but I have to wait to get it I'm out of money again lol.

I'm at a Pilot in Mt Sterling right now sitting in MC Donald's borrowing their Wi-Fi and having dinner. I love being alone on my truck. But what channel on the CB do you use. Most of the time Its blank and now one is talking then I get a bunch of garble goop just curious if there is a specific channel most truckers use.

I'm slow to ask questions some times though. It didn't even occur to me until today when I was sitting at a shipper and they had us on channel 20

I use a canon mx 320 all in one scanner copier fax which I got at Walmart for $50. I found out that the newer HP all in ones don't work with inverters

I remember one year Central gave us sleeping bags. They weren't just ordinary sleeping bags either. They were like some kind of sub-arctic cocoons. They literally weighed about 50lbs a piece. We actually ended up leaving them at home because they weighed so much! We had a W9 and being a team, plus our dog (great dane) we were always over weight. The W9 trucks are super heavy. One year we got tv's. Another year we got plug-in coolers. We also got gift certificates. You got a Xmas bonus to and the amount was according to how long you worked for Central. Central was pretty generous!

Tried looking up my companies score, but evidently didn't know how to navigate the FMCSA site. Can ya'll tell me which buttons to push?

CSA is replacing the safestat sytem the feds used to have. They now have 7 catagories they score by, of which the public can see 5. Been lots of "buzz" about it lately and if your a drvr, better learn about it. Biggest thing to come out of it is, drvr's are now being held more accountable for problems.
