Yeah that D15 is sweet! I know for sure Central did not like those trucks, because they didn't get any more after that batch. They turned them all into company trucks because the O/O's could not keep them out of the shops! You are correct Chrome that was the year of the new omissions. POS! It wasn't just the Volvo's either. We got a T2000 after the Volvo's and it had a lot of problems too. Plus Central was one of the first companies to get these trucks off the assembly line and we were the first drivers to get the trucks from Central. They were so fresh off the line that they hadn't made parts for them yet and we would have to wait sometimes up to six weeks to get replacement parts!

Niners I live in FL. Just outside of Ocala about 20 miles west of Daytona. (Deleon Springs) We have a horse training facility out there. That was our goal while we were driving over the road.

Florida is the one place I have yet to go yet, Chompi! I would love to head out that way and see the marshland. My girlfriend just sold a horse of hers, and has 2 left out in California. Hope the roads are treating you well today!

Niners, you aren't missing anything down here. The traffic is bad, truck stops are few and far between, freight is scarce heading out. On the bright side it's warm, easy driving cause the roads are flat.
