    In Fontana. They are short trucks here and in SLC. The only other option would be GA. I dont think I would ride a bus that far lol. Guess we will all be waiting.

    Yep I am - even if I wasn't 'still here' I would check back and see the message - plus if you just ask - others could chime in too :) so what question do you have? Not sure if I will know the answer - I'm a newbie myself - but some one might...

    Hubby did his DOT physical before school - but from what I understand they would only accept it if it was done in the last 30 days or so (not sure of the exact amount of time) - I'm going to have them do it... might as well... the prehire app I think is so that they can check your background info - driving record that type of thing. I let the recuiter know when I can start this process - Hubby went right in. Let me tell you THAT was a rush and a half!! I stayed behind to tie up loose ends and make sure everything was set at home - he's already with his trainer :) Hope that helps - if you have more questions - keep them coming!! Someone will answer :D

    Do he leave right after school or did he get a little time,, I know it depends on if a trainer is available

    As soon as he finished school (in Sacramento, CA) he went to Fontana, CA where they did the paperwork for hire and the 'official' DMV testing. The day he passed that (Thursday) he was on his trainer's truck. Now not everyone gets that lucky - he was :D

    Well a whole day in Yuma with 3 stops isn't bad since another driver had 4 stops and was there for 2 days. LOL. When you see a hamburger stand and port-a-loftiest on site, things can't be good.

    Don't sweat it Norcal. Freight is the slowest of the year right now. Most drivers take time off this month. Hang in there. You will probably make more ($40) now then if you were sitting out on the road! Be patient, its all part of your training!

    David;
    You are doing great!! :biggrin_25514: I pay close attention when you ask/are asked a question. I wish I had recognized you a few days ago, I would have been your constant shadow! :biggrin_25525: You have nearly as much knowledge as the trainers to share. Not that you will need it but, good luck today! :biggrin_255:
