That is a big advantage I think of being a L/O with Central, is the making your own fuel stops.
Just like these last too runs I made. I took my own routing. I had to or the loads out have been later then they were.... I even made one fuel stop and filled. They wanted me to stop get 68 gallons go 180 miles down the road and get 170 gallons.
I just filled on my first stop and ran my butt off...

Hey..... hey... you trying to make a date with my wife???

-
But that is a good thing about the W9 I have, there is NO icon or other system.
I first week out I had something like 22% idle time. (most of that was setting in the yard the first 2 days) but when the DM called me about it, I just told him that there was no ICON System. He told me to stop in one of the shops and ask them to show me how to use the Icon. I told him, "NO There is NO Icon, you can go ask the mechanic there at Fontana, I had even asked him, and he said that there wasn't"
After that, I have not heard anything about my idle and I have been between 15% and 22%.
I am waiting for them to say something again. I was just going to tell him, "Then dont leave me setting if you dont like my idle time" lol......
But then, my DM is about as bright as a burned out tail light! -
you talking about the refer inspectors at Americold in Carthage MO.?
I've been waiting now for almost 4.5 hours to be inspected.....
And I have to be inspected before they will load me. -
A couple of weeks ago, I got passed by a couple of "short" yellow school busses.... and if that didn't take the cake, not long after that, I got passed by a VW bug, pulling a uhaul trailer!

But then, I have figured, that is why Central drivers are not allowed to carry firearms in their trucks... The Company is affraid that we may shoot ourselfs out of embarrasment....

I want to warn everyone about the Walmart DC 6065 in Harrisonville, MO.
If you get detention pay while there and need to have your paper work time stamped!
Watch these guys. They falsified the times on my paper work yesterday .
I got into the office at 1510 the papers were stamped 1545.
They then show that my paperwork was complete at 1705. I was not called till 1756, I walked straight over there to get my paperwork, gave them the commcheck and the time on the receipt for the lumper fees (I was standing right there watching him print it out) was 1655. So when I asked the fat ####### how come the time on the receipt was 15 minutes before the paper work was done, he closed the window on me.
When I called my DM about it, he informed me "he didn't care"!
Anyway, long story short, cover your ### when your there!
