I hate having to be a pest, but sometimes it's the only way. Although, the last time I was a pest, I got told to change fleets, so apparently I irritated my driver manager enough that he wanted rid of the co-driver and I. So we're on DM #12 now.

My name is Andrew and i'm trying to get back into trucking and I have some questions about the company in general. Can you help me decide wheather they are worth as a start over company. I had a bad experience and are unsure. Been looking at this thread for 2 hours, I've seen good and some more bad. Can you help with general advice?

It is what you make it on 90%. The rest is luck of the draw. I am 1 of 4 in my class that have over a year and a half. Most I know who have not made it very long is due to them being unwilling to put up with anything period. The 2 guys I know that are still here are very laid back don't complain much and run hard. Are they worth it as a company? I would say yes. Just don't expect the world to revolve around you and don't expect to get rich and you should be fine. Best of luck on where ever you decide.

Dentetion is when you arrive, on time, at a shipper or receiver and are held up there past a certain amount of time past your appt. time. Layover is when your waiting on the comapny to find you a load.

yeah sams club is nice in Buckeye. I told them that I had to go pick up another load in Yuma that I was going to be late for and they had me out in 30 minutes.

    I go to quite a few Sam's DC's.
Never had a problem at one. They are always frendly. I am always drop and hook at them though. Loads in are quick. Loads out are just as fast.
