JJ is a L/O and so is 6pak and LadyElites hubby Rhino.

There Lease Program is OK .85 mile loaded and empty, Fuel Surcharge on loaded miles only.

Our Lease is three years and we intend to buy the truck out at the end of the Lease.

Central does have E-Logs so you have no choice but to run legal

Trucks DON'T come equipped with APU's.

We had an Overhauled one put on our truck that was pulled off one of the other Lease trucks $6000.00 installed, JJ pays an extra $65.00 a week for it.

There are two things I hate about the Central Lease and that is the payment when your Lease is finished and the miles you get as a Solo driver.

JJ has been training for the last three months and the truck has to get 14500 in 28 days. This week he will have a little over 4400 miles for the week.

I have finally got Rhino to the computer. He will be using my name.

Company team drivers get paid .31 a mile and that is split. Which you are running 5000-6000 miles a wk. And you both are paid separate company pay just as solo drivers. The pay is split before you are paid. All benefits are as company solo drivers.

If you are an O/O and team driving......As far as the co-drivers taxes, I (the O/O) report to the ATBS what I pay him each week and they send me a report with the amount he should be withheld quarterly as well as my own. He is then responsible to pay his own taxes.

Benefits (medical dental, and vision) are available not by Central but through another company but can be withheld for the co-driver (if he wants it) from the bottom line before you pay him. The benefits package is more expensive and less coverage. My partner chose to get his own else where.

If your co-drivers school isn't paid off when you start teaming. That too will come out of your check weekly. My buddy owed 945.00 so they are taking 189.00 a wk for 5 wks. And of course your schooling is pd off when you sign a lease.

If O/O the co-driver which technically works for Central technically doesn't. He is considered employed by you. You are responsible for everything he does. It is up to you the O/O what you pay your co-driver. Whatever you two decide.

    I hope I have helped.

If any of you see a black T2000 USMC sticker on the doors.
    Come say hey!

As for team driving. When I got out of school and on my trainers truck, I decided to team with a guy I met in school. We thought two knuckleheads in a truck would be better than one, and we would run be able to make more money.

    Wrong, on both.

They were only running us solo miles as a team. We went through 3 D/M's before we decided to go solo.

Only running 2500-2800 miles a week as a team we were going broke at .31 split. It was like me giving him half my paycheck.

They way I look at it, is teaming only works at central if it is your wife you are going to team with as all the money stays with the truck.
