A huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I went out about 11am and took the same route as I did yesterday. The time came to make that same right turn and I got it. I actually did better today that I did yesterday. I had 18 points yesterday and only had 10 today. Out of everyone in the class, I had the second lowest score. There was a girl who only got 8 points on her test and she was the winner. 1 person did fail all 3 attempts on the road test and he was sent home today. We started the class with 36 people and ended with 17. Next week is geared for getting ready to go out on the road from what i've heard. No more tests until I come back from the 28 days out. It will be good to get some drive time and learn more out on the road.

Congrats Bullet888, knew you'd make it.
Can anyone here pm me some recommendations of good trainers out of SLC? Don't mean to sound overconfident but want to be prepared if so. I am a n/s, clean and all good lol.
Also other than summer clothing what should and should not be packed to SLC for training and going out with a trainer? Thanksbullet888 Thanks this. -
Congrats Bullet on passing the test. Now the real learning and yes, even fun can begin.
2 new steer tires later and "nothing" having been found wrong with the APU, am getting ready to head to TX. Oh joy, oh joy. Bet i get stuck at a meat plant for 2 days. Wonder if Odessa has a Thermoking?bullet888 Thanks this. -
Make sure you pack a hat for on the driving range. A few students in my class got cooked standing out in the sun on the driving range. I would also bring a raincoat just in case. Bring toiletries(deorderant, toothpaste, etc.) with you and most of the other stuff that you need or if you need it can be bought at the Wal Mart by the terminal in SLC. They have a shuttle that runs to there and other places a couple of times a day. Rak, there will be alot of drivers at the terminal. Talk to them and see who they might recommend or if they are willing. A few people in my class have already got a person that they want to go out with or have in mind.
Also, thanks to everybody who congratulated me. I feel very good today and if the weather was better, I would go out for a celebratory ride. Maybe tomorrow.rakusa and techiekate29 Thank this. -

I have lived in Colorado most my life - I highly suggest the mountains, camping, backpacking, and the hunting, from what I hear, is exceptional. We also have some great outdoor hot springs. Southeast Colorado is... well.
Try Gunnison too, great mountain ranges. And then there is Wolf Creek pass. That is a fun road in the winter!!! -
Congrats Bullet!!
I have been reading this thread for awhile - since bullet's 5th day. I am a noob, going to school in a couple of weeks. From what I have heard here, this has now become number one choice right now!
I have some questions, but I will talk to a recruiter first and then ask here.
I am glad I stumbled onto this thread - it is nice to hear something positive verses all the company bashing that some of the other threads have. Nice job guys!!
Hope you all dont mind if I join your group for awhile. If I get a job there, it will be more than a while. -
