JW, We lease and have an apu.....waited for a year to get one and it was second hand came of another Lease truck!

 

bob is the one who actually saw him, he told me just about the time he was passing, (i was watching a video). bob said he did see the "JJ Truckin" , pretty much what he looks for when he see's a red Pete with chrome bumper.

bob is actually from northern IL, got to pass within throwing distance of his stomping grounds tho'.....he was giddy, been 21 yrs since he's been back there, that's how long i've been holding him hostage in hawaii...hehehe.

dbl yayyyyyy for you..... anticipating your ride-along.....bob and i were joking that my alarm clock was the tapping of his brakes and if i am angry with the boss i can just clock out and go home 3 feet away...or if i really want to pout i can close the curtains on him...lol, can you tell for the most part i am having a blast????, i so am!!! am i considering driving????....hmmmmmm

You sound like me! When I am pouting I go back to the sleeper.......Haven't been peeved enough to shut the curtains yet!

I am hoping to get a quick trip back to Australia next year But who knows!

 

Just sittn in S Weed waitn till 01:00 to leave gotta sit and wait for the unloadn thing as no one will do it for me . Almost told my D/M I was lookn for another job but held off. Talked to an Upstage driver today they do trade shows and concerts haul all the lighting and stage stuff, pay by the day not by the mile sounds fun free concerts but only $ 100.00 a day to start. They give there drivers APU'S also TWT is lookn for drivers for the West Coast and AZ lower miles 2500 to 2700 but .34 cpm could run by the house more. I'll be filln out apps. over the weekend if the flatbed co.don't work out.

 

As far as coffee goes theres a stand on the corner and a Mexican dinner house here to good food and coffee all in one place.

 

Nice change then, I will have somethin with Chicken and a 1 shot latte skim milk!
