Well we have just made it through day 2. Practice tests all day long, but I believe we are ready for the tests.

Well the sun finally came out for a couple hours today. But many school systems still closed tomorrow due to the floods. Most all main interstates in atlanta have closures at some point on them. If you are routed to atlanta via interstate 20 coming from the west tell your dispatcher to take a long walk off a short pier. The interstate most likely won't reopen until atleast friday. Once the flood waters receed they have to determine the structral integreity of the bridges. Atlanta is a total mess right now. They are calling this the 100 year flood on the news. Most parts of town got 8-12 inches of rain yesterday alone. I have been here my whole life with exception of 1 yr in SC and I have never seen this before EVER! 1bad went through Chattanooga this morning and said that the Tennessee river was only about 2 ft away from flooding I24 at that point and they have had more rain to the north of us today. So this is indeed a SE issue. Please be careful if you are coming this way!!!!!

 

If you were doing good on the practice tests, the DMV test will be a breeze.

 

Why would you be "sending" anything? As I recall, during the first day they come around and gather up your DL and SSAN , photo copy them and then return them to you. If they will accept a current passport in lieu of the SSAN card, then just bring it with you. Your recruiter should have a definitive answer for you.

 

They want the SSN Card, I don't have one so I need to get a replacement before going to school.

Can't say that I'm there sittn in Denver waitn on my trailer to get ready headn to Santa Maria CA. go'n up the coast. I hear tell it's gonna snow tonite I'm glad the chains r on. Glad to hear things r well so far.

Atleast I got some chains don't no if all ever get home ever again may not even no how to get there if they did let me go I miss my home why can't I go home.



Oh ya they say it may snow over the pass I'm ready cause I got no heavy jacket, snow boots, snow pants or water proof gloves. Call me Mr. Waitn to get sick.
