I am sorry to hear about 1Bad's situation.
We talked for a good hour a few days ago and I was hopeing everything would get better.
They are correct with the prices they are posting, and with the fact that all these things can be taken as a deduction. The problem with that deduction is that you have to itemize all on the road expences for the year then, and cannot just take the 80% of 53.00 a day.
So It may not work.

I know they will take you back OTR. I just hope you can get a good dispatcher that can keep you moving.
My wife is all over me about work. I called them yesterday to see if they had any changes, or maybe a turn around in our freight. They said that it was not looking like it would get moving before the end of the year. So I guess I better start looking. Wish I would have talked to them last week, then I would have gone to the company I talked too. I will have to drop by there tomarrow.
Hopefully it is a decent deal and not a crap company.

 

The only problem is we don't have enough in deductions to itemize after losing the house. Standard deductions are higher!
